Note from the author: This is a poem that I wrote a while ago. It's one of my favorites. It's a riddle. Whoever can guess the answer gets a cookie.

I spread my wings of leather
And leapt off of the peak.
I soared into the twilight,
And the wind, it kissed my cheek.

I ran through the forest,
Gaily lifted my head.
My mane flowed out behind me.
I sprang towards what’s ahead.

I swam through the oceans,
My hair streamed out behind.
My fins, they did guide me.
I picked up shells, which I did find.

I soared into the air,
Feathers blowing in the breeze.
The air was hot around me
As I flew above the trees.

I flitted to a flower
And caressed its pretty petals.
I spread my wings of gossamer,
Then in it I did nestle.

I trotted through a meadow,
Arms swinging at my side.
My hooves made little sound,
As through the grasses they did glide.

Dragon, unicorn, mermaid,
All of these am I.
Phoenix, fairy, centaur,
You’ll find me if you try.
